Dhaka weaving is a technique originating in Dhaka, Bangladesh which made its way to Nepal and has been a very important hand loomed textile in the country.  While the popularity for these products has sadly declined in Nepal due to cheaper clothing imports, this women's group seeks to maintain their textile traditions while modernizing the design for the international market.
